I'm number 4 on the wait list for my local DC bmw dealer. I'm a bit surprised with the total lack of knowledge regarding allocations, production date, and delivery. After reading in the forums i understand that 2014 i8's are a headache for everyone involved as far as delivery and any information regarding such. I wanted to create this thread for anyone to post any information they may have regarding specifically 2015 i8 (not already ordered 2014s).
As of right now the only thing concrete that I have is that BMW:
-has not yet released allocation information to their dealers
-not confirmed that all worlds (giga, pure impulse, tera) will be available for order unlike the 2014 which restricts worlds to mostly pure impulse world and a little of tera world. I personally wanted giga for the white leather interior
-no idea when they would actually be able to start production or delivery (as far as the delership knows)
Now take off forum magic and get me some info!
