Agreed. I think there are two kinds of people here: those who "get" the i8 and those who see it as a track/speed car because of the looks. The latter will have the reaction you see. It is not surprising. It is the same as someone who complains the lotus is uncomfortable on a long road trip!
Pretty sure everyone gets the i8, it's a technical marvel and stylish too, but for the money other cars seem to do more except on emissions and exclusivity. ETTO.
