i read a whole series of posts about grip levels on the i8, i can easily get the car to squirm on stock tyres, so I don't necessarily (??) subscribe to aftermarket tyres not being better.

btw my gearbox issue happened before i drove through snow and flood

Was beginning to think my car was acting differently to everyone else's so good to know yours is the same Mighty

I've got 15k on mine and the tyres will need replacing probably in the spring so I'll go as wide as poss on the 20 inch BMW rims.

We've had a bit of snow down here in the penines but no time to get the car out for a play - how's it been in Scotland?
