It was a top spec fully loaded dealer demo car, but never mind.
Sadly every track day I had booked in 2020 was cancelled thanks to Covid, so the McLaren got little real use.
Not an alternative to i8, but I'm planning to test drive the GR Yaris. If it lives up to the hype, I might well replace the i3 with it.
