The HV batteries are covered under warranty. My issue is they force you to replace the 12v battery. The hv system lets it die so you are have to let them replace it before they will do any work on the car. Even though my 12v battery is less than 2 years old i have the paperwork for a battery replacement done already they refuse to warranty the 12v battery.
