The whole philosophy of BMWi is Born Electric because they are not existing concepts electrified. They are conceived from the ground up in every feature to illustrate a certain purpose that is very different from electrified concepts of existing vehicles. Hence why they are Born Electric. They are not the same as an electrified ICE car.
