The greater range of 33KWh battery is still lower than that of a 23KWh (18.8KWh usable) + REX.
After you code the REX to use full 9L tank (vs. 8L US default), you will be looking at anywhere from 150-200 miles, depending on the speed and terrain.
Depending on the MF and residual, the 2016's lease terms may already have been discounted in the anticipation of the MY'17s.

Thanks for the insight. In regards to the MY17 car. If I get the REX on top of the greater range, I assume it would blow away 2016 cars
