I respect that opinion because more performance is absolutely a good thing.

BUT sometimes people miss the point of the i series. While performance is always a focus for all models, it isn't the #1 priority. I remember BMW saying that there are no plans to build any M versions. The i series is about technology and efficiency. I am no fan of hybrid or electric cars, but building those will allow us to keep big power performance cars. I think the i8 will be plenty fast and will hopefully be a fun car to drive. Price is definitely too high, but i guess that tech is still expensive.
