It looks as beautiful as ever, those wheels are really nice and they being lighter than the previous ones make it even better. The i8 spyder is arguably the most stunning spyder available on the market new today, and I am very impressed with the technology put in both the new coupe and spyder.

However, with all of that said, I am seriously underwhelmed by the power output.

I think BMW took too long to release this. This is how it should have been released from the start with both the coupe and spyder debuting the same time or a year apart. But in this day for a release in 2018, 4 years after the original and monumental debut of the i8, I think BMW missed an opportunity to really make this more special. It should have a lot more power. At least 425 combined hp. A 374hp total output just won't cut it in this new market to make petrol car lovers switch to this hybrid.

I just hope that BMW will have something a lot more powerful in store for the next generation iModels.

Just my humble opinion.
