Our car is one of the original BMW UK launch vehicles, which means that a) it already has around 2500 miles on the clock and b) it's loaded with quite a few more options than we might have gone for if we'd been speccing it ourselves. Interested to hear from other owners, including what you thought of the dealer handover and how you're getting on with public charging points (does anyone actually use these?!). And if it's allowed here (?!), I may post the occasional link to our updates; we'll have them on a weekly basis at our site, starting from this Friday.

Interested to hear your thoughts,

Kind regards to all,

John
Nice car I had one on order in UK but in the end cancelled as just got fed up with the delays in delivery. Will be interesting to see if you get to the bottom of why production seems so slow. Looks like they have also restricted spec on early US cars? I was also disappointed with lease costs, on a net basis unless you are a business user the high lease costs just outweigh the other savings. Hopefully they will get cheaper as volume increases. Concept and design is great but for a city car it needs to be £100 per month cheaper in my view otherwise after the initial interest from early adopters sales may well slow. Also the charge BMW makes for the wallbox is a joke got mine for free from other suppliers. Will enjoy reading your updates.
