They got it from Autoblog. However BMW spokesman Dave Buchko already said that story was wrong and the price will be in the low to mid 40's.

However they may have just got the "before credits" wrong. If it's prices $42,000 then it will be $34,500 AFTER the federal tax credit so they could be 1/2 right.
