The re-fueling (and issues with getting the filler cap open) is addressed in the Drivers Guide, which I realize you can't access, so let me list the key points for you:
1) Switch off the ready-to-drive function (start/stop button). Could be easy to forget to do this when the car is running on eDrive.
2) Press the fuel button, which allows the tank to start venting. Tank aeration status is shown in the instrument cluster. In rare cases, it may take several seconds to aerate. When the aeration is finished, a message is displayed in the instrument cluster and the filler cap is released for opening.
3) Open filler cap. If the filler cap does not open within 10 minutes of the fuel lock being released, the filler cap locks again. Press the fuel button again.

If you have to open the filler flap manually (e.g. due to an electrical fault), open the cover in the right hand trim panel located in the trunk. Pull the green tag with the fuel pump symbol and the fuel filler flap is unlocked.

Hope this helps.
