so far, the dealer is keeping to his position that this is "normal" for my car and there is nothing they can do about it. My i8 is still at the dealer for a fuel door problem and (hopefully) a software upgrade.

Any suggestions on how I go about escalating this within the dealership or within BMW? It is crazy to think I need to plan on replacing $1500 tires every 6,000 miles...
