I see nothing wrong with them. What's the problem with letting people know the car has an electric motor? In certain cities (London could be an example), the badge may save you from vandalism by people who think it's just another noisy, polluting wanna-be Ferrari. People there specifically get painted outside mirrors for their S and RS Audis, because the silver ones are a give-away and get kicked off a lot.
