The picture we used on the article was actually a render I had made when I heard the news.
Don't read anything into the banner - I'm a massive M fan and so, purely out of artistic license, decided to use the opportunity to nod to one of my favourite automotive brands!
The purpose of the image was more to convey the general idea of what a liveried i8 with blues and twos might look like.
Interpret it as an Easter egg, if you like!
