that part is true but that wasn't the original concern you expressed. you said that the i3 charging connector was not capable of level 3 fast charging and only capable of 240v. I was just trying to fill you in on what you were missing.
I am not missing much.

The i3 takes 3 hours to fully charge.

The plug BMW chose to use is not yet the standard in the US for DCQC's so it's not capable of recharging in 30 except for one currently installed in California at a mall.
