Europe uses a different charging plug than the USA. So, while an adapter MIGHT be available, that's not certain. Add that to the limited range most people would find the experience a bit less than ideal since they typically would like to drive further than the vehicle can go...IOW, most tourists don't travel to, and stay in one city, and the distances between them may not be easily within range, at least if you wanted to stop and see something along the way.

Opt for the range extender, and it becomes a bit more plausible, but still would have the issue with the plug.
