BMW is a mature car manufacturer.... They are positioning this for 2021 release unlike Tesla who seem happy to put immature technology out there that has already resulted in fatalities.
Nevertheless the on-stage demo illustrated that they are on a path to productizing this capability and from my perspective was a welcomed preview of what we can expect to experience in the future.
