How would charging the cars battery increase its consumption? I have to disagree on this one, I think they are talking about using the sockets for charging an external device. Thoughts anyone?
The only way this makes sense to me is if they wanted to say that you're not supposed to leave external devices connected when the car is shut down, as that could cause a trickle discharge. After all, when you buy the official factory iPhone cradle accessory, it charges your phone. So it can't be that charging external devices is completely off limits.
