Have you tried shifting at the red line from 1st gear up to 5th when the car is on D5 or S5? If you did you wouldn't have suggested the steering wheel is too thick. Cause I find myself griping that wheel as if I'm hanging on it with my life and when the shift happen especially from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd, the wheel is the only thing that keeps me from hitting the back seat. Love it
