i4 versus 5 series construction

was comparing 2024 i4 to 2024 5 series.
Felt that the i4 drivers door feels heavier than the 5-series driver door.

Wondering if the i4 and 5-series use different materials for the outer door skin and inner construction (steel vs aluminum vs magnesium).

Was thinking maybe i4 uses more steel in the doors and the 5 series uses more aluminum ? anyone know.

Yes, the i4 door seems heavier and more solid than the 5 series. Maybe because it is coupe based?

i4 coupe based by name or more 3 series 4-door based ?

( I don't know much about 4 series and 3 series chassis design )

Parts are not available yet for the i5, so we cannot easily look up weights.
