Not sure about the winter tires but one trick you can use when driving in snow and ice is to use Eco Pro and Eco Pro+ modes. I used it for my ActiveE in the winter and it works very well. By limiting the power to the motor you'll get substantially less wheel-spin. You can always switch it back to comfort mode once your on your way if you like, but leaving it in the less powerful modes in inclement weather is what I would recommend.

It probably have traction control so I guess it won't be a problem. And these ultra thin tires will give amazing traction! They will get delivered with winter tires here. I will contact my dealer about what type.
