If you look at the new benz s class dashboard, it seems more "future"

Really? The steering wheel is very nice on the Benz, but it doesn't look futuristic. It looks "modern classic" to me, which in a high end luxury Benz is the right theme. Also the huge wooden dashboard with the circular vents in it does not scream "more future" to me. The sleek design of the buttons does look very cool and modern, but overall this does not scream "more future" to me. Also keep in mind we are looking at maybe 25% of the whole i8 dashboard so far, everything else is covered and once you see it in full I think the overall design will be apparent. I am reserving my judgement of the futuristic-ness of this car's interior and dashboard until the full reveal. I do like what I see so far. |

Prefer the BMW design if I'm honest, the Merc just looks ostentatious, and if I'm really honest I prefer BMWs without screens at all; I want to look at and enjoy the road, not a big distracting screen. |
