Galaxy S23 Ultra digital key not compatible

Wondering if anyone here managed to add the digital key to their S23 devices yet?
I get a message that it's not supported on the myBMW app (maybe it needs an update?)
My S21 ultra continues to work just fine with the digital key.

Sounds about right, I wasn't sure if just me because I had trouble even getting Samsung Wallet installed.

The only confirmed compatible samsung devices are the s21 series. Someone on this forum got the zfold4 to work with key sharing. I don't believe they set it up from the bmw app.

Yeah makes little sense that subsequent galaxy devices don't seem to work. BMW is usually pretty slow on the android adoption side of things. Some of the pixel series works as well. Not sure what complications are not allowing them to open it up to more devices.

Wow that's pretty poor, thought the flagships like S22 would have received it by now but doubt they will do it quick for the S23.
Pretty sure once they have UWB should be all good, just lazy devs on the BMW app.

It's not the device, it's BMW/Samsung allowing use of the device. If you go into wallet and digital key you can set up Kia/Genesis/Hyundai.

Full Support for S22 lineup rolled out in August 6 months after the S22 released. I used it for mt S21 and S22, when I upgraded to S23 sure enough it didn't work. It will probably be another 6 months.

The S23 ultra seems to be compatible now in the my BMW app as I can progress to the add digital key but the pairing keeps failing.
Can anyone with an S23 confirm if it actually works?

Mine paired fine.
I haven't used it, but was able to get is paired and recognized.

No joy here, it either asks for the activation code or just fails to pair.
100% the phone is at fault as Samsung wallet said it was not supported since day 1, so I had to download the apks manually.

I just went into the MyBMW app. No issues.
You need to have "both" keys inside the car or it will fail.

BMW App updated the other day, I was then able to set up the S23 without any issues, make sure you have the Samsung Wallet up to date too.
