Not a great spot for the front cup holder next to the iDrive controller. I wonder how many people are going to spill their beverages and wreak havoc on the electrical system

As A rule I don't drink or let anybody else drink in my car not after the great McDonalds Strawberry milkshake incident in my E60 M5 a few years ago.

I also have mixed feelings about the exterior design. Am I the only one that thinks that lower rear panel (painted in silver or orange) makes it look like the car is on the process of Sh!ting out some sort of supercar? It looks like the back end of an exotic car is coming out of the i3. I'm really not sure about this design... maybe it can work with a different color scheme.

It is still quite an achievement though. I didn't expect the production version to come to fruition so quickly, looking almost exactly like the concept. Even though I do not like some parts of the interior, it's still nice to see such a visual difference compared to the regular BMW range. |

Dreamspeed, yeah, it's because 19" skinny wheels have the same or similar contact area as wider 17" wheels but the skinny wheels are more efficient for <reasons>.
