Super easy to work with him and Jimmy. Biggest hassle is UPS not delivering my paperwork yesterday. I leave town Monday and I'm not back for a week. Luckily David resent the paperwork today via Fedex first overnight, so should be all good on Monday. Damn you UPS!! |

I tried sending these numbers to Steve Thomas bmw and they said they no longer can offer those same prices, but they were able to give me a white Tera world with no laser lights, 148k, at 128k. |

question
Hi all, I am shopping around on a i8 lease. What would be considered a solid deal for a $142k msrp car? Say if $2k is put down. I am looking to get one immediately. thanks in advance

I just got a deal on a 2016 with 148k msrp (white with Tera), 2k driveoff including 1st month payment, 10k/yr 3yr, for ~1260/month including tax..selling price was knocked down to 128k, so I'm guessing yours would be knocked down maybe another 3-4k and have a payment around 11-1150..i also had to pay 1k shipping to get the config I wanted, as there weren't anymore in the area like that, so im still waiting for mine to arrive..hoping just another week or 2!

Looks like some of you are getting 20-25k price reduction for 2016s. Not many 2015s left but one would think that 30k reduction might be possible. Residuals are tough on the 2015s, so lease figures are not favorable unless dealers knock price way down.

I was really curious if you guys had any tips or know of any good i8 lease deals. I see that a lot of people are able to get dealerships to drop down the MSRP. How are you able to do that? In Miami if anyone knows of any good deals down here.
This is a current deal I'm just looking at, I'm really looking to get into an i8 lease, would like some help if anyone can offer. Thanks! https://www.southbmw.com/bmw-i8 |

You can also call and e-mail them and say you want to pay $XXX amount with zero down. I usually like to start with sales price first because most sales people aren't familiar with lease calculation and think low $1,000 payment with zero down on a $150k is ridiculous. That deal at South BMW is very bad. They want a $15k down payment and $7k security deposit. Payment should be anywhere from $1,000 - 1,300 a month with zero down. It also varies on your taxes since each state is different. |

Hit up David Aviles at Steve Thomas bmw, literally just picked up my i8 3 days ago! He will just instantly give you a good offer, no haggling needed. Mine had 148k Msrp, got it for 2k drive off including 1st payment, and 1260/month after tax

Wouldn't it be difficult to get the car to Miami?

Not at all, they will arrange shipping for you. Most of the cars they find aren't even on their lot but on lots around the country. The one I chose came from the east coast. Plenty of others from this forum have also went through him..tell him Sasha sent u! |
