We've already shown you the i8 in silver and black, but BMW debuted the i8 at the Frankfurt show in an even wilder color - Protonic Blue Metallic with frozen grey accents. David (Dackelone) was on hand to witness the reveal and gives us this first look at the i8 in Protonic Blue. |

Lolwut.. even without the badges, the kidneys or the hoffmeister kinks... there is no way on this planet Audi would ever put out such a heavily sculpted, flowing, and intricate design into production. If it were an Audi, it would have a massive gaping mouth front grille, lots more grilles in the front and the back, and it would look dull, and the profile would look odd.... very much like the R8.

NOT true! It was quite usable, as that was one of BMW design targets with this car. A true sporty car that can carry four people.

Looks really nice and futuristic, but it's in dire need of better rims... Stock rims does not look good IMHO.
Price tag is also a turnoff. I was expecting it to be between $60-$80K, but if want a baller car that's green, this car is for you. I would really want one if the price tag was between $60-$80K.
