Most miles you've gotten before filling up?

I'm looking at about 420 miles before I put my first tank of gas in it, I've fully charged twice and used it to drive home two days as well from work.

I feel like I can probably get more moving forward but have only had the car since Saturday.

Any experiences similar?

I seem to remember I drove a couple of weeks trying to do all of my sub 20 mile trips in e-drive only. Doing that really stretched my gas, I seem to remember I managed around about 800 miles on a single tank until I got bored and stopped driving in e-drive.

If you drive it right and try, the claimed figure of their mileage is quite achievable over a couple of weeks. Mind you, I only live around 5 miles from work so it was easy to do the whole trip in e-drive. If you live outside of that, I realise you'd get a lot less.

Unfortunately mine is a 12 mile commute but we do have the chargers at work which is really great.

My trip to work is exactly 9.9 miles and I am able to do a full round trip on ePower only, pretty much getting to zero miles when I get home. I then plug it back into the outlet overnight and do it all over again. But sometimes we go somewhere else or I want to drive sport mode, that's when I use gas. I fill up maybe once every couple of months.....

Over 1600 km on the tank at the moment (about 1000 miles). Still almost half full.

The car is fine. But have the driver checked.

Just kidding. I'm doing a range experiment at the moment. Don't have any long drives coming up, so I'm doing all my chore runs in fully electric - most of them are in heavy traffic anyway - to see if I still recogniize my gas station attendant when I finally have to go there again.

I drive 13 miles each way to work. No chargers at work. Charge each night. Averaging 43mpg and another 6mi/kWh. Most I have gotten from a tank is around 450 miles.

Hey gents

What's the best mileage range you have seen based on not plugging in for that entire tank of fuel?

That's for sure ha.

So after driving the car only in sport mode I decided to do driving mostly in Eco mode (how painful). My commute to work is 40 miles round trip and I do about 30 miles on the battery in total (first 20 miles on battery and then motor for 10 miles to recharge and last 10 miles mostly on battery). Computer says getting between 60-70 mph after a couple hundred miles.

According to the fuel range it says 410 kilometers when it's full . I have consumed up more than half liter gas and it now says 172 kilometers .Same mileage roughly 7 miles per day since last fuel filled up .I'm using Sport mode mostly

On one occasion I went about 700 miles on the trip odometer and put in 2 gallons (U.S.) of gas. I have had the car since November 2014. As of today I have 9,825 miles on the car and have averaged 69.4 miles per gallon. I do a lot of local trips and I can usually squeeze 17-18 miles of range in electric only. On long trips I average about 37-39 MPG.

1100 miles on one fillup here.

I have a 240V 20 AMP charger at home.

I use the occasional use cable at work.

For those that run a lot in e-mode, are there any concerns that the ICE will suffer if it's not run for an extended period of time?

It still runs every so often. In fact, if you let the car sit for over a week or so, even when you try to drive off in eDrive, the engine will fire up on its own accord and run for about a mile or so. My guess is, it's for lubrication and to prevent corrosion.

If you really rarely use the engine, there is the potential of the fuel going bad. Had this happen to one of my classics, when it was sitting over the winter. That old stuff just won't ignite in the engine anymore. Had to drain the tank completely, refuel, and let the fuel pump move all that old stuff out of the pipes before the car would start again.
