Phone Mounting

Any of you guys use your cell phones in the car? I don't mean texting and driving. I mean, use Waze, listen to iPod/iPhone, Podcasts, etc.? If so, where do you mount your cell phones? Or is it on lying on the passenger seat? Or the cup holder? Any good solutions? Pics?

I place it in the center console when it's plugged in to the car. No need to have it out with Siri and iDrive integration and all.

I like to use Waze over the BMW nav. That's why I was asking.

I usually put it in the tray that replaces the rear cup holder.

I removed the dummy phone cradle that came with the car . I have Android phone , it doesn't work with the BMW's phone cradle because it's made for I-Phone thingies but I open the lid and just put it there .

My phone goes in the front cup holder angled towards me. Perfect for glancing and seeing notifications and stuff.

Water bottles go in my rear cup holders which I have to do a left-arm reach-around to grab them. haha.
