Tire help.

Hey guys I ran across an issue this afternoon, after discovering a nail in my back right tire I was informed that I'm not able to order a new tire at this time due to a national back order. Does anyone know of anyone having rear tires in stock? Thanks

Went through the same issue, The fronts I got from tire rack, even the shop I use that can get anything couldn't get those tires even from Bridgestone themselves, Your gonna have to deal with the dealer unfortunately.

Mine matched tire racks price, and sold me the rear tires probably thought they would make it back on the install but I had different plans he he he!

The dealers cost is around $160 or something a tire.

The average price is $180

Tire racks was $143 or something like that....

Yep that's why I said your going to have to deal with the dealer, but you can still ask if they will price match. As mine did for me.

Tire Rack this morning now indicates that rear tires are not available until March 16, 2017 !!!

Did you try the dealer yet? If you only need one tire just pay the 30 to 40 dollar premium and be done with it. Their not coming any time soon so gotta deal with the dealer.

Tire Rack shows "In Stock". Is it showing otherwise once you try to check out?

^ He was referencing the rear tire so I'm guessing he has the 20" wheels/tires since they're staggered. I'm seeing March 16th too on the 175/55-20

That's just insane you have to be tied to the dealer like that just to buy some tires.

Today . . . Tire Rack will not have 20" REAR tires until April 7, 2017 !!!

Generally, it's wise to order parts 1-2 months in advance of when you need them. Whatever those may be: brake pads, fluids, tires.

I believe it took me about 1 month to get my set of 19" Bridgestones last fall. It was OK, since my old tires still had a bit of tread left, and the delay only effected the appointment time with my tire shop (which received the tires).

Now this is a problem . . . today, Tire Rack says 20" fronts are "back order" and 20" rear are not available until May 12, 2017.

Thankfully I have 3-4 months of tread left but if this keeps up . . . I may grab a set the moment they come available!
