Auto stop feature via adaptive cruise control?
I just bought the i4, with the drive assistance pro pkg, which contains the adaptive cruise control feature. It slows down when the car ahead slows down. But it seems like it won't stop when the car in front of me stops. For example, if the car in front of me stops at the traffic light, my car will slow down, but I still have to brake. My other car - Audi Q7 does not need me to brake. Is there an option to turn it on or BMW does not have this feature?

Ours comes to a complete stop when the car in front stops. Try adjusting the distance setting. Perhaps you are not waiting for your car to stop if you have it set to the shortest distance.

Weird, I haven't changed the distance setting, which shows 3. And I waited for the car to stop until the last second, I am pretty sure it does not stop, and remain about 7 mph speed.

If you’re not in cruise, Adaptive will slow down the car but not stop it. If I’m in cruise it stops completely every time.
