Air Con issue

We have in the UK some hot weather 30C (85F) and it looks like my AC is on the blink.

As its unconventional i.e. electric compressor and its used to cool the batteries should I only go to BMW for a recharge (looking at a 10 day wait)

The compressor is running really fast and I've switched off the AC and open the windows and sunroof but at times the pump still runs so if its trying to cool the batteries and its not some damage could be done.

Any views / comments ?

My car is in the dealer for over 6 weeks now waiting for them to repair the AC. (long story so I won't get into it here)

Looks like you have a 2015 i3 so should still be under warranty. I'd recommend you telling them it is a must/urgent fix since the AC also cools the battery. They should be able to see you sooner.
