Hi all,

I have purchased 2019 i3s model yesterday. I was convinced that all models (apart from old 3gs modems in some regions) can be connected with My BMW app, but to my surprise, my BMW does not have the module installed at all. The dealer told me it wouldn't be possible to install it since the car won't be registered in the main BMW database, which makes sense. But I'm wondering, my be there's a way to make it work?

I would really like to use the remote heating option in winter through the app, and also monitoring the charge level would be useful for me.

So my question is, maybe there's a way to do it, or at least may be any suggestion on how Auxillary climate can be started remotely?

You can start the climate function with a button on your key. That is slightly remote. You can also program it to start (or be finished) at a given time.

Thank you for the tip, I will test out how it will work with the key.

Also wanted to know, there's no hack or other way to install connected drive?
