White i8 with Avant Garde M615 wheels

Last week I had some new wheels installed on my i8. I elected to try the Avant Garde M615 wheels painted in a brushed stainless finish. They are 22" and the pics shown are with a stock suspension setup.

It is not bad at all. And i generally am not fan of after mkt wheels.

I would have gone for 20-21' though.

Thanks for the comment. During my search for wheels, I've searched and looked at other i8's for reference on this site. Figured pics would help someone else shopping around.

I like my standard wheels, generally aftermarket don't do much for me as too over the top. These however I like.

As Ericsi said, options in 20/21 inch would be useful and more to my taste. I think these wheels are my fave way to get to wider rubber.

I was originally looking for 20-21" wheels. Eventually I saw these wheels online and I ended up liking these a lot. The BMW TPMS synched up nicely without a service visit. The tires are a Pirellia P Zero Nero.

Here's another picture.

I'm in the process of breaking in the new tires. They definitely have a larger contact patch than the stock tires. I left my winter tires on my stock wheels and will use these for the summer. I have to drive the car more to give you a better answer.

Overall initial impressions... hasn't changed much from the roads that I've driven on. Basically I drove back on the highway and then it was parked in the garage. Had a business trip after so I couldn't drive it.

i8 lowered on H&R springs

This week the car was lowered on H&R springs. The work was done at Turner Motorsports.

Ride quality after the spring install has been ok. The stock springs aren't as firm of a ride. I haven't noticed too much of a difference just wheels alone.

they work very well! it seems pretty tough to make aftermarket wheels look good on the i8. these definitely work.

There's only one H&R option: Sport.
