Anyone have a 2020 i8 coming off lease?
I've been looking at a 2019 i8 but figured I would at least take a chance to see if anyone had a 2020 coming off lease that they might not buy themselves. (Not sure if I got the timing right as to when those cars are coming off lease.)
If so, I would be interested in learning what the purchase price might be to see if I could buy it from the dealership after your lease is up. Feel free to let me know. Thanks. |

yup! I got a 2019 recently from the Stevens Creek Mercedes actually non CPO.
There are very limited amount of 2019+ in the bay (3 last time I checked), majority are in SoCal which I would say if you don't mind driving/shipping. They're pretty well spec'd out for my taste too. Thankfully I usually see them owned by people who garage them all the time and as a non-daily so finding one you like shouldn't be difficult if you expand your range. I don't know your budget but a low mileage one will run you around 85k+ MSRP (non roadster) and if you are taking a loan in this economy be prepared to see about 7% APR. I also highly recommend getting extended warranty which the base offering will run about 15k. All in all be prepared to see about 100k in total spending. Feel free to DM me if you want my breakdown of pricing, which I thought was pretty good for the state of the world right now) Final note, maybe reach out to those located in SF as well, someone told me the parking situation isn't ideal due to the wing span of the doors. |

The extended warranty quote does not seem right, it must be too high! Be aware that extended warranty and maintenance plans are all negotiable. You may want to search the forums to get an alternative quote from another reputable vendor here. You can cancel the one you just bought, read the fine print.
I have a 2014 and while the regular maintenance is quite involved, I have had no major issues to deal with. |

I paid 199 dollars for 3 oil changes directly with BMW. The warranty you bought is third party, the price is outrageous. Search for Steve Thomas BMW and call their person that sells warranties, I bet you will pay much less. Many people have posted here with favorable feedback. Your warranty will be valid at ANY BMW dealer BTW.
I never buy Wheel and Tire, but I have multiple cars and dont drive them as much as you may, that is a decision for you to make. |

Agree with ChiTownM. Call Steve Thomas, they have a finance specialist who has good pricing on the BMW extended warranty.

I just bought an OEM extended warranty (Platinum Electric) for my 2019 Roadster for around $4,500 directly from BMW dealer. Another 3 years (12/31/25) up to 75,000 miles.
