Got to drive i3 at Hilton Head concourse very impressive, I feel it will be a good addition to the BMW line up!

I, for one, am not ready for an all electric car yet. The obvious issues are range, charging time and and what happens when the battery wears out.

It can have an allure. I met a guy who lived near Hilo, Hawaii who owned two electric cars and had a solar panel array on his property. At first that sounds like driving for free, but the capital investment is substantial and the economic viability of his solar installation depended on subsidies paid by other electric utility customers.
