Programming/Coding help needed bmw I3
Hello
I bought a BMW i3 2017 94ah with range extender second hand. The car is US version, and I knew that car was in accident with driver airbag deployed. Updated all modules with new psdz data with e-sys and unfortunately coded the ACSM4 module so all previous setting were gone. After coding and resetting the settings, I encountered several errors with ACSM module. 1. 930994: Safety battery terminal: Resistance too High 2. 93090A: Driver's airbag, interval stage 2: Resistance too high For error no 1 - I checked the terminal it was gone (fuse exploded). For safety reasons purchased BST terminal repair kit and error is gone. For error no 2 - I called the old owner, was told that he replaced the deployed airbag with a brand new one for European I3 version, it had to be coded because the airbag in US i3 are 2 stage and Europe versions use one stage airbags. I made a visual check of the airbag install and it is looking intact. As I understood ACSM module needed to be coded. I purchased bimmerutility, have E-sys latest version + Ista 4.41 with latest psdz databases 4.42.11. Unfortunately I cannot find the setting in ACSM CAFD file from where I can switch from 2 stage driver airbag to 1 stage airbag. Would be very helpful if anyone will give me an advice and directions. |
