Comfort Mode Lag
I did a basic search, but nothing came up.
So, does anyone else experience horrible lag in comfort mode, when attempting to accelerate from a complete stop? If I'm in sport mode, the car takes off immediately. The same goes with Eco Pro. The electric engine immediately takes off. However, in comfort mode, it's as though the car has no idea what it wants to do. So, it delays for a second or two, then kicks in the ICE and slowly accelerates. Is there an update available for this? Otherwise, comfort mode is pretty much pointless for me. Thanks. |

I have the same and so many others. I just had the software update done on the car and it may have improved things. I can't say with complete authority that it is fixed.

Agree on the annoyance factor and Comfort not much use to me when traffic is busy (most of the time) and you want to swiftly pull into traffic.
One way to ease the problem is pull one of the paddles before you accelerate away, this engages the gas/petrol engine so at least removes some of the lag. Remember you're then in manual mode though

From my experience with it, its the electric motor maxing out and waiting for the gas engine to power on. Its very frustrating and i leave the car in sport just because of it.

I have noticed that too, I am either slightly pushing the accelerator to kick in the gasoline engine or engage Hold State Of Charge Option ,I can even hear the engine roars when either with these two done .
Fuel consumption is almost equal to Sport Mode when you opt Hold State Of Charge Option

I experienced this too, lag was horrendous. I had to put it in sport when at 'tricky' junctions that demanded a clean get away.
A software update improved it, but I still have the habit of flicking into sport - just to be 'sure'. |

I had this in the beginning, but only when I had just come to a stop and needed to take off again immediately, e.g. at an intersection. And only sometimes. I thought it might have something to do with the e-motor sorting out which gear it wants to be in. It disappeared with a software upgrade - well over a year ago now.
