I started contamplating an i8 last spring, much because I really looked forward to these lights.
But soon learned that laser lights wouldn´t be in production til Nov ´14.
It didnt make sense to take delivery in the winter so I pushed it til this spring, First production should be in March, after some procedure problems my order was confirmed for production in april 2 weeks ago.
But last week the SA called to tell me production of laser lights is stopped because of "week demand", but will resume in Nov ´15.

Sounds fishy to me, will laser lights be a seasonal option, produced only in the dark months of November to March?? Or does anyone knows what on earth is going on??

They told me I would have had to wait until Spring 2016, I think it was March. This info directly from Germany...I think marketing was way ahead of production with these!

But they delivered a few already last spring, then it´s been in full production from October til now.

No reports whatsover on such from what I seen.
SA offered me a brand new I8 from their showroom w laser lights...
I could pick it up any day.
Of course wrong colour/interiour...

For a while I thought its because they want to introduce their new active laser light first sawn at CES in January in the autumn, but SA came back and said Germany categorically denied that.
