My experience is that Blink uses poor materials on their chargers that commonly break and aren't maintained. In other words, it hard to find a working Blink charger. ChargePoint is from EVgo who makes quality equipment. I've never seen a CP charger that is down for a big length of time.
At level two you are pushing about 6-7 kW. So the math says roughly $1 for 6.5 kWHr. Or 39 cents per kWHr. CP wins. The thing about 4 hours is 4 hours at a time. In other words, they want you to use the charger for less than 4 hours at a time. That should be fine. I have membership with both. But I only use Blink when I really have to. |
