Btw I am pretty sure the headlight cornering description is NOT on the actual sticker (checked mine today).

Schererville is full of it. They advertised MSRP, and when I called them it suddenly was a lot more. Btw, if you look at their latest listing, they have pictures showing the front opened...

we did not have an advertised selling price, just the MSRP of the vehicle. You would be lucky if you can find a dealer who is NOT selling an i8 for more than MSRP.

Of course. That's why I asked. A question you have decided not to answer.

Carry on.

I bought mine at MSRP, and so did a few others here. The difference is THOSE dealers will have repeat business. I know mine will from me. So they could try to make a one time profit (short term), or long term profit.

What is ironic is SOMEONE who buys an i8 is probably buying QUITE A NUMBER of expensive cars. Audi dealers tend to understand this on the R8, but a lot of BMW dealers don't get it.

Agreed! I just got my i8 the other day and for MSRP - ordered and got what I wanted; When I got my R8 I was lucky to get a good deal from my Audi dealer as it was my 8th car through their dealership;

I have had two major Chicagoland Dealers offer to sell there in stock i8 at MSRP.. just yesterday..
I asked "Are these selling at MRSP yet, since production has been doubled?" they said, "NO"..... I responded "well I am interested, but waiting for the price to drop to 'reasonable'" and went on to look at X5d.. and as I was leaving... "if we will sell that i8 at MRSP... are you interested?" ...

I don't really buy BMW (almost ever, only other exception was 2006 M roadster). So I called around and first sentence was: I will buy but only at MSRP. All the "obvious" dealers tried the "market value," and I just breezed by until the first one said "sure." I will now exclusively deal with them on any BMW related matters. I think they will more than make up for the $10 or $20K they MAY have gotten for the car from someone else.

Now I'm looking for the second i8....

.......

Got my ordered unit for several hundred below msrp. Just have to deal with decent dealers who know the benefits of repeat customers.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST PART of this is the floor mats. Because, you know, THEY COME WITH THE CAR in the front and there are none in the back!

I want the shake the hand of whatever moron buys this one (if you are reading this sorry I called you a moron I still want to shake your hand while snickering).

Lojack is also unnecessary. I believe I have wheel locks, too, but I don't use them. Parking the car in Malibu-West L.A. has not been dangerous -- yet.

We got ours for MSRP. I guess if you can sell it for above MSRP it's means the cars are in demand right?
