BMW i vision dynamics concept

Photos/info @ http://bmwi.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1421526

First thoughts?

I don't hate it. I'm getting tesla model s and a GTR somehow mated with the i8 i efficiency dynamics concept.

Quick stats: top speed of 200 kilometers per-hour and a zero to 100 kilometers of four seconds. Range is said to be 373 miles.

I'm still taking the design in, I'll wait some hours to see the full press release.

But here it is for your love/hate pleasure!

I like it, the upright kidney grilles are a nice touch and hark back to early BMWs. Slim headlights were always going to be the future and I love the B pillar design... Overall a very nice surprise and different to previous i cars/concepts..... I likey, in fact (to my eyes) it knocks Tesla design out of the park!!

Couldn't find your pic so here's a link:

How long would does it usually take to go from concept to actual production? It will be interesting to see actual production car.

I agree! I do prefer this over the model s.
I think once it's toned down for production it'll be a real looker. One thing. Those wheels have got to go.

I guess it's hard to say but judging off bmw's timeline I'm guessing 2020 earliest... seems far off.
