Hazard Button/Headlight Switch Illuminated

Came home from work today, plugged my i3 in and locked the car. A few hours later, went to check on it and noticed the headlight switch, hazard lights button and ?Active Safety? button we?re still illuminated.

In other BMW?s I have had, it was normal for these buttons to stay illuminated, but once the car completely powdered off (roughly 20min) those lights would turn off.

I wonder if it has something to do with, when the i3 is being charged, it does not fully shut down?

Has anyone else noticed this on their i3?

I checked mine this evening about an hour after parking and none of the lights were illuminated.

I noticed my Hazard button stays illuminated while my Rex is plugged in and charging.

And as long as you have the light switch in the 'AutoLights' position, lights will stay on for some time after exiting.. I just make it a habit to turn the switch to off..

Interesting, I'll check it while plugged in and charging as well.

I can confirm same as baldyloxx that when I'm plugged in, the hazard and light buttons remain on at least while charging.

Sounds as though this is normal behavior for the i3. While charging, the car must leave a few ECU?s turned on, which makes sense.

Thank you to all who tested and confirmed.
