interior dilema
I am hesitating between the dark brown leather interior (HALO if i am not mistaking?) and a black leather interior with grey frozen accent and light grey roof lining..
Car will be dark grey. *pros of the brown: it is a bit more special, got bits of cream leather, feels slightly warmer. *cons: can't get the lighter roof lining. The interior feels a bit claustrophobic with the black roof lining. I really, really dislike the blue accent on the steering wheel that comes with the HALO interior (can't delete it). *pros of black interior: it is more subtle with just the blue stitching and you can delete the blue accent for frozen accent meaning you don't have that horrid blue thing on the steering wheels. You can swap black roof lining for light grey roof lining which makes the atmosphere a lot lighter. *cons of the black interior: everything is black including dashboard and there is hardly any contrast. Any opinions of current owners? Any pics of your interiors to help me decide? Cheers.. Eric. Last edited by ericsi; 01-06-2015 at 05:26 AM.. |

I generally like brown or tan leather over black and that's one reason why I went with Tera World. (I also really dislike gray leather.) But the "Dalbergia brown" isn't a really a brown color. It has overtones of green mud. If you can get black I say go for it. (But I don't know if you can.)

I also have Sophisto with Frozen Blue and really love the contrast with Pure Impulse! I must admit that I had a e36 M3 and also a 545i with similar interiors and love it over my black e92 M3.....so good luck!

I just ordered mine with the giga black interior. I personally dont like the color brown for interiors or what bmw calls brown, since its actually like 3 different colors. Now you can hate this or love it but i was planning on hopefully tastefully adding small amounts of carbon fiber hydro dipped parts to the interior to contrast the black. Like the plastics around the vents etc.

i just took delivery of my car yesterday and has ivory interior. So no brown, no black because those two were too dark. Have another one on order for 3-5 months down the line. May go brown. Black feels too claustrophobic in small space like this.
