LV stuff is pretty overrated. Most of their stuff isn't even made of leather, they are made of canvas. Their customer service has been spotty and their quality has been pretty hit or miss in my experience

Tacky. The Kardashian crowd should be off the wall right now.

The i8 is a work of art, so much engineering went iinto it, you display those badges proudly. LV bags on the other hand are just pieces of material stung together and all value comes from the brand name itself, not because they are such good bags. Unless of course you come from oilland and i8 for you is just a new toy, then yes, you need all LV you could fit in the car.

None of you know what you're talking about. LV can absolutely be tasteful. It's about picking the right pieces. A fashion and accessories line isn't always cohesive, and it's always a surprise to find something nice from a designer you normally don't shop for.

I'm getting the feeling I don't fit in the overlapping Venn diagram of tech early-adopter and "LV luggage enthusiast" they are marketing this to. (I'm not saying anything about the quality of LV, just that most people don't buy it over a TravelPro because of increased durability/functionality) . I'd rather have a functional, rugged black canvas bag with no branding. I guess it's a nice option for people that want something like this. But I'm also the type of person you're more likely to find in a hoodie/t-shirt and jeans when I'm driving the SLS. Watches and Cars are the only "luxuries" I don't find it gaudy to pay a premium for (probably because of their mechanical nature and my engineering background), so more power to the people that like stuff like this. It just isn't for me.

The bags are gorgeous; it's the car I shake my head at disapprovingly.
Look at those back seats... The seat bottom couldn't be thinner (looking)... with a seat back someplace near 90 degrees upright, and a speaker blaring into your head 4" away. Look at the center console... It looks cheap as hell, and it just ends with those disgusting cup holders? This is a six-figure car?? Definitely the "Ultimate Poser Machine."

I don't think these LV items have any branding of BMW or i8 on them, they're just regular LV items made to just fit in the i8. I don't think anyone would really know these were made with BMW and the i8 in mind.
