Drove the i3. It drives like a BMW, performs like a BMW but it doesn't look like a BMW.

It looks like one now, because it's a BMW like it or not.

But I am sure the reason people buy them is beyond the looks.

Love the i3, you just need to get used too It.

Its just the big culture change is too much for some people...

Totally agree, good move on BMW's part for bringing a bunch of these to the SD Auto Show because I was not convinced until I drove one. I wish it looked more conventional but it really does drive like a BMW.

I sat in one and loved it. The seats are incredibly comfortable (which surprised me considering how flat they are)

I loved the overall styling of the interior as well. They nailed it.

Looks The Part To Me

This car is a brave and well thought out entry into this new type of mobility. BMW took similar steps when it emphasized its development of diesel power plants and models and now it is a leader in this market.

The styling could be more thoughtful but it suits the futuristic city run about role it wants to fill. In fact, it is nice to see bold design come back to BMW after an era of caution.

Only thing is I hope they still remember what they are famous for and keep on developing great driving machines.

I saw one at the DC auto show ... Have to say this is not my cup of tea ... I do not see myself driving one soon. It is not good to look at either.

Test drove one of these this afternoon, all I can think is that I want to go back and do it again. It was an amazing car; lovely and quiet, excellent ride, spacious, brilliant technology, unmistakably a BMW .... Oh yeah, and real, functional, visible, carbon fibre sills :-)))

I really do not understand why that you have to give the car Audi A6 headlights?! Why?
Where did BMW's most well-known brand going? Corona rings!
