M3 to I8 questions

Hey there. Currently in a f80 and looking to move to an i8.
What packages do I want/ need?
What trim?
And has any came from a f8x to an i8 ? Good choice ?
Only concern is the performance and sound aspect. I like to hear my car and have it make noise to show character .
Thanks

There are no important options. Trim is what color you want. Performance is better at low speed and initial acceleration, in other cases its not as good. Sound is different and you will probably not enjoy it. It is a very different car so give it a try and you will know within 10 min

I personally highly recommend the laserlight option. Their power depends on if you live in the US or Europe (EU one is better), but either way they make your high beam a lot more powerful above 43mph. Aside from that though, it changes your daytime running lights to be a double light instead of single and the double looks a lot better.

The only decent real exhaust mod that I know of are the down pipes made by Gintani. They have a video clip of how it sounds on their Instagram if you scroll back a year or two. If you want a fake exhaust sound that’s a lot better than the factory fake sound, get the Maxhaust kit. I have the Maxhaust kit and it sounds good but will never replicate the booming sound of a real exhaust. BMW also sells a carbon interior kit at the dealership for about $2600 installed
