Fan + Noise when charging

If I plug the car in right after pulling in the garage, the fan come on from the hood. Is this right?

Also, whenever I charge the car is my a low sound(seems normal). Does this sound right

I hear a noise from the car when I plug it in too . I think it's a confirmation tone that the car is in charge ,a notification tone can be heard too when you insert something in your computer's usb ports

May also be cooling the ICE system, if I pull into my garage quite often the fan at the front starts and runs for a while heating the garage up nicely. This happens when I've driven the last mile on electric mode, never if I drive all the way in sport mode with the ICE running. I suppose the fan starts as after switching to electric mode the ICE has heat to be got rid of.

Plugging in the charger the next morning a fan operates for a minute or 2 and stops together with an interesting array of other sounds

Fan only comes on if I've just driven the car (fairly hard) and then plug it in---I assumed it's cooling if needed---if car is cold and I plug in there is no fan on.

Seems to independent of ICE use. I had described this noise to the dealer when I first got the car and they said it's the battery cooling system. I suppose it comes on when charging after harder driving because the battery is then already quite warm.
