I actually participated it in a rally with this i8 and while the wrap is nothing short of tasteless, from a business standpoint it was genius. The amount of attention the car generated for that business was monumental.

Okay, attention. Now, how many of those people will actually remember what the business was, and go buy something from it? You can get attention, but people may still walk away from you thinking you're an idiot. Not saying that was the case here - I wasn't there - but attention alone doesn't make it a good idea.

Well it was pretty obvious what the business was since the name and slogan was plastered all over the car and featured almost as prominently as the Pokémon. The wrap was also was exclusively for the rally as far as I understood, it came off soon after, and since it was benefitting a children's charity I found it sort of fitting. In fact I'm thinking of doing something just as obnoxious for the same rally this year with my car (although I will keep it Music themed since that's the business I'm in).
