I'm interested in your 429 set if you can find a 428 deal. I have a 427 set that I want to keep for snow tires.

429 for 428

I'm in the same boat where I recently picked up a 2017 i3 REX and have the 429 wheels but after looking at more pictures the 428 rims became more appealing. The more I stop to look at the 429 wheels in person though and if i just stop looking at pictures of i3s with the 428 wheels I really appreciate the 429s. Might just be a case of wanting what we don't have lol

I was able to get everything else I wanted on this car, when working with my client advisor we thought we had the correct wheels too, after the dealer trade arrived... he realized they weren't the ones we thought they were.

I'm curious to know if the the weight of the 428s differ from the 429? the split turbines may have less mass. But with the 429 design, would those produce less drag? LOL first world, EV issues.

Yea i think as long as we have the 429s let’s just stick to the idea that they have less drag and are more efficient. It’s like what has been said recently about the Model 3 and those Aero Wheel ‘hubcaps’. If the 429 were painted all black instead of like blades they have a similar design to the aero wheel caps.
